Why five notices are enough for your accommodation guide

The more notices you post in your accommodation, the less they get read. There are five pieces of info guests actually look for: when to leave, how to throw away trash, where to smoke, what time to be quiet, and who to contact in an emergency. This tool creates just those five. You only need to enter the time and contact info, and the sentences are already written in a way that guests can easily follow.

For a guest who doesn't speak your language, a sign in one language is as good as none. Recycling rules are the clearest case: they differ by country, and a sign that only says “Please sort your waste” tells a visitor nothing. This tool prints all five signs with Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese alongside the English, the languages of the guests most likely to stay with an English-speaking host.

Print in two sizes depending on where you attach them. For close-up spots like inside doors or above trash cans, put 4 per A4 sheet and cut them to postcard size. For distant spots like the entrance or living room wall, print them large in A4 size. Printing is a browser feature, so the times and contacts you enter are not sent to our server.

Notices are papers that announce rules, while reasons and alternatives belong on the accommodation guide page. A single “No smoking” sign doesn't tell guests where they can smoke. Put smoking areas, waste disposal details, and quiet hour precautions on the guide page, and use this notice as a pointer to that page.
